Well I survived the weekend. Honestly, it seems as though the weekend were weeks ago. It was beyond difficult seeing my friend in her weakened state, but I'm blessed that I had a chance to say good bye. I don't ever give up hope, (never, ever) but she's very, very sick and at this point we're blessed with every day she's here. Please keep Denise in your prayers for comfort and peace.
I'm trying to embrace summer, revel in the weather and take it all in. ENJOY life - lucky that I have one, lucky that I have people to share it with me. Blessed with health and a family and friends.
Hug the people you love, and make sure they always know how you feel.
