Fort Niagara, for those who don't know, was an important fort in the American Revolution, The War of 1812 and the French & Indian War. It's been in the hands of the Iriquois, the British, the French and the US.
The fort sits on Lake Ontario and the Niagara River and is breathtaking. The views are amazing and the kids were all over the old buildings, cannons and musket demonstrations (conducted by a gentleman dressed as an American solider during the American Revolution).
My favorite part of the day? Being outside, on the water, on a 70 degree day in November in Buffalo. Unheard of around these parts.
Oh and this week? Rainy and low 40s. So there you go.
