Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. Oh I love you. I remember when you were born. I was 4 years old and couldn't believe my luck. A baby sister!?! What? Sherri and I were over the moon with our blond haired, green eyed little sister and loved you like crazy.
You were so independent as a little girl. When mom would take us into a store you'd be gone. Vroooom! We spent most of our time shopping playing "Where's Kelly?!?!"! And no babies and dollies for you. Nope. Worms, bugs, dirt, tadpoles and snakes were the playthings of your youth. You were your own person, and I admire you for that.
Look at this face will you!?!?!?! I mean, come on! This face!
We don't always get along. Show me sister's who always do. But I always love you. No matter what gets said, no matter how many tears are shed or how loud the voices are raised. It's real. It's life. And we're sisters forever. No one can take that away from us.
So on your birthday, I want to wish you a year of happiness and health. A year of continuing on your own path, to discovery and joy. I want you to know that you're loved and cherished more than you will ever know.
