Non vedo l'ora

I've started the planning for our spring trip to Rome and Germany.  I'm starting to get that excited, 'I can't wait' feeling I get before I travel, and I'm so excited to go back to Italy!  This is a family trip (itty bitties are coming too...they're getting quite the collection of passport stamps!) we're all taking to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday (which is tomorrow, but we decided to head abroad in the spring, April to be exact, so we're not shivering (you know how much I love the cold!)).  My brother and his family move to Germany next week, so we'll head into Frankfurt to check out their new digs and then to Rome.  SO looking forward to it!


I was last in Italy in 1998 - I wonder if it's changed much in 12 years!  We shall see!  I've never been to Germany, so that will be totally new for me.  Maybe if you're nice I'll bring back some lederhosen for y'all!
