Hot Stuff

Getting excited for the debate in 4 minutes. Woo hoo! I'm going to keep this post open so I can bitch and moan about what I hear (from either side...I'm voting for Obama but that doesn't mean I don't agree that Biden is a bit of a loose canon from time to time). 2 more minutes...should be interesting to say the least! Here we go!!!

My notes from the debate....

• Palin looks pretty (talk about sexism, right?).


• Not sure about that wink thing she just did.


• I am so TIRED hearing the word "Maverick". Ugh. AND THE FUCKING HOCKEY MOM THING. Oh my dear God. Enough already. And if she drops the "pit bull wearing lipstick" bit I'm going to puke.


• I hate to say this, I really do, but I have a few issues with something - Why is the borrower not responsible for the "predator mortgage" issue? I know I can't afford a $300K house. So I don't buy a $300K house. Even IF someone is telling me I can, I know what I make. I don't know. I think the blame is to be shared.


• "Darn right"? I've heard it 5 times already (it's 9:13pm). Do I need to keep a tally? Come on Sarah - no more folksy.


• Is it just me or have either of them actually answered a question? No? I didn't think so.


• Man I am so ready for this weekend.


• I'll admit, she's doing a lot better than I thought she would. She's still a little too folksy for my liking.


• I like corn. It's my favorite vegetable. With lots of butter. Yummah.


• I wore my hair like Sarah Palin's (with a longer, more side swept bang) at Jill's wedding. The back looked just like that.


• She's a tough little cookie that Sarah Palin. She's doing really well.


• Oh my God. My "Maverick Meter" is going off the charts. Ooops, it just broke.

That was good. GO OBAMA!

One last thing: That baby should be in BED! It's 10:37 at night (well, 9:37 in Missouri)!! That makes me feel like he's being paraded around and that makes me sad. What purpose does bringing little baby Trig up there? And where is Bristol? AND little Piper should not be walking around with that BABY! God that makes me nervous. They're a cute family though, I'll give them that. But those little ones really should be bundled up and in bed. It's a big deal for their mom, so maybe Piper should be there. I don't know, whatever.
