Happy Birthday!

How did this happen? One day this little turkey was just a teeny, tiny muffin. Now she's a walking, talking, singing, dancing, eye-rolling, hugging, loving, giggling, reading, sassy, emotional, kissing, loving angel of a 6 year old! WHAT?!? She is just the apple of my eye, I adore this child with all of my heart. So Happy Birthday Miss Madeline - your Nenna loves you more than you'll ever, ever know!
And on another note, today would have also been my father's 62nd birthday. What a man. What a hero. I am his biggest champion - and he meant the world to me. I saw this amazing rainbow while driving home tonight. I truly think it was my dad wishing my little Madeline a Happy Birthday. I always thought it was so incredibly special that they shared this day.And lastly, my family experienced a true miracle. You might recall that I asked you all to pray for my aunt who was experiencing sight problems. Well, inexplicably, she's cured. Her doctors were literally 'jumping for joy', and they had NEVER seen this occur. She can see, read drive. All the things she thought were going to be taken away from her. Thank God. I truly, 100% believe in the power of prayer. Prayer, positive thinking - all of it. It works. Sometimes not in ways we want (at least not in the short run), but it does work.
