First day of school

Today marked this little turkey's first day of First Grade. Argh - I just think she's the cutest thing on this planet - I just love her to pieces! She came home and said she loves school - which is awesome for a little girl who did NOT want to go to school today! Especially since she was put on the wrong bus home and arrived nearly an hour and a half after her school day ended. Woo hoo Bus Garage! You guys rock (hardly). Hell...she's nearly 6 - she can fend for herself. No worries. All should be well tomorrow. And who said this little cheeseball could go to school? Jack officially started his 3 year old Pre-K today with his little mini orientation. Classes start next Tuesday. You can see a thoroughly enthused Abby behind him! Jack loved it, loves Mrs. Miller and is going to thrive, I can tell.
I hope all of your little ones had great first days, or will in the days to come!

And if you're the praying type, could you say a prayer for my aunt - she's going through some health issues with her sight, and will lose all close up vision very soon. I feel horrible about it. No more driving, reading, sewing, etc. A total life change.

Have a great week and be sure to squeeze as much summer as you can out the remaining days we have before autumn {my FAVORITE season!!} starts!
