One of my minors in college was Art History (the other was French in case you're curious). Oh how I love me some art. I don't think I could pinpoint my favorite artist at this point, my tastes are all over the board. Two of my (semi) recent faves, however, are Kurt Halsey and Fornasetti.
I own a few Halsey prints which I adore and I'm hoping to get my hands on a Fornasetti plate or two (many of his works can be found on plates - same face shown in a variety of ways). Interesting fact: the woman who was Fornasetti's inspiration was an Italian Opera singer named Lina Cavalieri. He painted over 350 iterations of her face. *love that* or *creepy* - you decide.
