I was going to post about my birthday today. About how excited I am, blah, blah, blah. Instead, you're going to be treated to a pity party? Ready? Let's party!
This is the week I'm having my BFF and her 4 kids stay with me (they arrive on Thursday). This is the week I'm having a housewarming/birthday party for 60 people. This is my birthday week. This is the week my kitchen sink decides to spring a leak and require the floor and walls to be removed. Let me restate that - This is the week my sink decides to SHOW said leak, which has apparently been leaking for 60 years. Utility closet? Mold-fest. Flooring in utility room? Moldylicious. Wall hiding access to pipes? Destroyed. Pergo flooring? Let's just say "bye bye".
Oh its a good day. Good, good, good day.
P.S. Thank God I have friends like Tim and Tom who are making this better. I'm truly blessed. But DAMNIT!!
P.P.S. The pity party is officially over (well, on this blog - not in my mind).
