Grey

The sky is grey here every day.  Every. Single. Day.  It's enough to make a girl want to curl up in her room and hibernate until a hint of blue sky decides to peek out.  It's pretty oppressive - overcast and cold days for months on end.

So I fantasize about moving into my new house, decorating, painting (I'm not really fantasizing about painting, but about someone else painting for me), etc.  And since it will be April hopefully there will be some sunshine in the picture.

This is the new desk for my office.  It's not beautiful in the picture but its beautiful in person.

It's sort of a  design your own desk from Pottery Barn.  I'm going with the rectangular desktop and a 2 drawer and 3 drawer file cabinet.  It's so very pretty and not as stark white as it looks in the picture.  I might do the smart hutch too, we'll see.  I don't like a lot of stuff on my desk so I might skip that part.

So that's how I get through my days...shopping and decorating a house I don't live in yet.  But I'm telling you, it'll be fabulous!   Maybe I'll start posting my little idea pages and color stories for the house.  That should put you all in a frenzied state of readership.  Oh how I kid.  Or do I?!?  ;-)
