The girl's got skills....

Miss Madeline had her 7th birthday party today (her actual birthday is 9.9 - aka "the second day of school"). My sister, again, knocked my socks off with her ability to plan and execute a unique and completely special party. Maddy wanted the theme to be "Asia", so Asia it was (last year it was Paris - the girl's a traveler a heart)! The day was filled with cherry blossoms, bright lanterns and giggling girls (and one boy - Jack William).

Happy Birthday Part Deux Miss Madeline, and Kudos to you Sher!

Wow, that's all beautiful (but I'm not at all surprised)! You forgot to tell us what the message on the cake is -- could that be Happy Birthday Maddy? And the message on the card that Maddy's holding is...? Thanks!

The cake said "Happy Birthday" in Chinese, and Sherri mad plaques with every girl's name in Chinese. Like I said, the girl has got some skills!

Can't wait to see you when Meg and Bill are here! Don't be such a stranger lady! :)

Thanks ladies! I love party planning for my kids, hopefully one day for others as well! Sandra, I love that you thought Maddy was holding a card! I actually painted that freehand, so your coment is such a compliment!
