Thursday randomness

Well I've been trying, and trying and trying to post a video onto my blog, but blogger is not cooperating. So stay tuned on that front. It's quite frustrating.

So as you know I just got an iMac and I am LOVING it! Oh its so rad, please make this your next computer, you won't regret it I promise you!

Tonight marks the 1 week anniversary of the crash of Flight 3407. At 10:20pm all of the local churches will be ringing their bells. THAT is going to make me ball like a baby, I'm quite certain of that. Please keep the victims families, the first responders and support staff of all types in your prayers.

Miss Ava is doing well. She's gaining weight and is a good sleeper. My mom is headed to LA next month and is going to take a little day trip to see Jill and the fam. She will just FREAK out when she sees this itty bitty and the boys. I have to make it back to San Diego soon. Maybe April. Here's Jilly with Miss Ava. *sigh* They're both just so pretty!

I am having a major case of spring fever. Its freezing this week and I've had it. I mean it is fri-gid here. I just want 60s and sunny and breezy. Is that asking too much? Really?
Lately I've been itching to get to Europe again. I found these pictures, taken our first day in Paris last spring and it just made me yearn to get on a plane. Look at that FACE!

Ahhh, Paris. There's just something about that city, I can't explain it. Its magical. I'll get back there soon.

I'm nearly finished with Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri. It's so, so excellent. There are 9 (I think) short stories and each one is better than the next. They all focus around Indians who moved to America and the struggle that ensues with different generations. She also wrote The Namesake (which was a beautiful movie). Next up is a book of essays, edited by Heather Armstrong (author of the blog www.dooce.com - if you've never read it you MUST bookmark it. She's hilarious.).

I've been gym-bound this week! 2 times so far and I'm headed back tomorrow. Woo hoo me. I hate it, of course, but I'm going. According to the Wii fit I'm now 37 (I was 39). So perhaps I'll be an absolute infant if I keep it up!

A long, boring, random post. My apologies. Enjoy your weekend! xo

P.S. Um Meg...some photos or updates of baby doll Emma please!!!!
