I've had way too much coffee today and not enough food. My hands are SO freakin' jittery its not even funny. So what do I do? Walk in the kitchen to grab a bite? No. I open a new post in my blog. Work is ca-razy busy, which is awesome, but it hasn't allowed me time to eat.
I have this little guy on my desk lately. He's so dorky with his little button eyes and goofy smile, that when I get all stressed (which is never, I assure you), he (it) makes me smile.
On a random note, Madeline had a dance with her Brownie troop (and a bunch of other troops) last weekend. Madeline's troop was voted "Most Glamorous" and when she was presented with her award (a statue resembling an Oscar), she exclaimed "Mama - I won a Grover!". Oh sweet Jesus I love this little one! She mixed up her Sesame Street characters, thinking she meant Oscar the award, but said Grover. Oh it made me laugh and laugh...and laugh.
My family is just coming off of 1+ weeks of a horrible stomach bug. Madeline would have gone back to school today (she was the last victim), but school was CLOSED today. Why? I have no idea. It rained and was windy. Sad, sad, sad. School NEVER closed when I was a kid. I mean it, never.
Oh well. Enjoy the rest of your week - next week is a 4 day week! woo hoo!
