Easter

Fancy huh?  Today is Ash Wednesday and of course Ash Wednesday makes me think of Lent, which makes me think of Easter, which made me think of this picture.  Oh the stylin' clothes we used to wear during this spring holiday.  Always the dress, bonnet, purse, gloves.  But what made OUR holiday (and outfits) more special, as you can see by this photo, is the following:

• Randomly placed barrettes
• Dad's lamb chop sideburns and hot pointy collared shirt
• Kelly's lack of pants/skirt/any bottom really
• Sherri's hot crushed navy velvet coat
• Kelly's Little House on the Prairie bonnet (hey half pint!)
• The overwhelming 'brown-ness' of our living room.

Lord only knows what mom was wearing.  Ah, the 70s...
