Its beginning to look a lot like...

well, you know.

The pink Christmas tree is up (not yet decorated)! Yes. Pink. For all of the traditionalists out there, simmer down. It's just a tree. I'm doing pink, cream and aqua (just like my little blogger header)! I had a pink tree last year and one my aunts (who shall remain nameless) chastised me for having a pink tree, implying I was being sacrilegious in some way. "A tree is meant to be green, that's a mockery of the holiday, blah blah". Because you ALL know that baby Jesus crawled up to that big old Christmas tree at that Inn in Bethlehem. He then opened up his little Handy Manny tool set and then sat back and watched a Backyardigans DVD. Ugh. Let's face it, very little about Christmas has to do with the birth of Christ. I have a pink tree because its pretty, and fun and I'm single and I don't need to be uber traditional. I still celebrate the day for what it really means, regardless of my tree color - so back off Aunt _ _ _ _ _! :-)

Why I have it up so early is a mystery to me. I just felt like it.

I hope you all have an awesome weekend (I unfortunately feel like I'm getting a flu...and of course I just got a flu shot on Monday....hmm)! xo xo

P.S. There were deer jumping and playing in my back yard at dusk. I just sat there and watched them. So amazingly beautiful!
