The prize for sending the first birthday card goes to....(drumroll please)
My cousin Tracy!
Tracy, I'll be sending you a big old bag of nothing as I have nothing worthy of a prize. But thank you for sending my first birthday card of the season.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my brother and s-i-l (and let's face it, its far more Meg than Bill) for sending me the first birthday gifts. I received two boxes of scrapbooking supplies from my wish lists back in June and I've been a happy scrapper ever since! They know me so well that they didn't even think that I'd wait to open them. Yay! And the best gift ever is that they'll actually BE here for my actually birthday!
It looks like Mr. Holland will be here as well, in town for a college friend's wedding (this one is Berto...if you've ever heard me talk of Skip's never ending of friends with no actual names, just nicknames - this is one of them). He'll be cruising into town Thursday night, so he'll be here for the big day as well. The more the merrier I say!

UPDATE: Got a call from Mr. Holland telling me that I had the wrong college friend noted (I originally wrote Wooly, not Berto). Mea culpa Skip. Now simmer down.
